1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the JJ’s Deliveries platform ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.


2. Service Overview

JJ’s Deliveries provides on-demand and scheduled food and liquor delivery services on behalf of local restaurants, cafes, and licensed venues across Queensland. We facilitate the pickup and delivery of products but do not produce or package food or alcohol.


3. Alcohol Delivery Compliance (Queensland)

Under Queensland liquor laws, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older to order or accept alcohol delivery

  • Provide a valid government-issued photo ID at delivery (e.g. QLD Driver’s Licence or Passport)

  • Not appear intoxicated at the time of delivery

If these conditions are not met, our driver will refuse delivery, and you may be charged a restocking and or return fee.

We comply with all provisions of the Liquor Act 1992 (QLD) and any relevant directives from the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR).


4. Orders and Deliveries

  • Orders may be placed via our mobile app or by phone.

  • It is your responsibility to provide correct delivery details and be available to receive the order.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to traffic, weather, or restaurant delays.

  • In the event of a missed delivery (e.g. no one home, ID not provided), additional redelivery or cancellation fees may apply.


5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Orders can only be cancelled before they are accepted by the restaurant.

  • Refunds are not provided for change-of-mind, absence at delivery, or invalid ID at handover.

  • If the vendor cannot fulfil your order (e.g. sold out), you will be refunded or offered an alternative.


6. Payment Terms

  • All charges are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

  • Payment must be made at the time of order using accepted methods (credit card, debit card, digital wallets).


7. Liability and Risk

  • Risk in goods passes to JJ’s Deliveries once collected and to you upon delivery.

  • JJ’s Deliveries is not responsible for:

    • Incorrect delivery instructions or addresses

    • Delays caused by third parties

    • Damage due to insufficient or faulty packaging by the vendor

  • Claims for damaged goods must be made within 24 hours of delivery and may require photographic evidence.


8. Allergens and Dietary Requests

We do not prepare food and cannot guarantee the absence of allergens. Please contact the restaurant directly if you have any dietary concerns before placing your order.


9. Prohibited Items

You may not use JJ’s Deliveries to deliver:

  • Illicit or illegal items

  • Non-approved alcoholic beverages or substances

  • Any items in breach of Queensland law


10. User Conduct

By using our platform, you agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or threaten staff, drivers, or vendors

  • Submit false orders or impersonate another person

  • Interfere with the website, app, or service infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban users who violate these rules.


11. Privacy

We collect and use personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. This includes sharing your data with vendors and delivery personnel as required to complete your order.


12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and app—including branding, text, graphics, and code—is owned or licensed by JJ’s Deliveries and may not be used without written permission.


13. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland for the resolution of any disputes.
